• Be ready to tell the Design Consultant what is important to you. Discuss what style reflects your taste: Traditional, Contemporary, or maybe something in between.

• Bring fabric samples of your upholstered furniture and pillows that you plan on using in your new home. These fabric samples will be very helpful in setting the stage for your style and color schemes.

• Visit our model homes for ideas. Browsing throughout our model homes is a great source of information. As you walk through each model, take notes of your likes and dislikes.

• Review your standard features list. This will make you familiar with what is a standard and what is an upgrade, and will help you to determine if you would want any upgrades.

• Dress comfortably. We want you to enjoy this special time; relax and have fun.

You will meet privately with our Design Consultant to make choices for the interior of your new home. Typically, we are able to give you prices as we go along, making the process as seamless as possible. Samples of standard features and upgraded options are available for your selection.

Everyone is different, but generally a 2-3-hour session is standard.

Just about everything. Cabinetry, granite, tile, carpet, hardwood, vinyl, knobs and pulls, faucets, sinks, lighting, etc.

When all of your selections have been made, our Design Consultant will prepare a selection sheet with final pricing for your review and signature. After signed paperwork is received by Abele Builders, Inc., construction can continue forward.
